My background:

My interest in recruitment started as part of the placement activities for my Psychology degree. The subject was Organisational Psychology and during my internship at a training/recruitment agency, I have gotten into practice about HR principles, how to create job ads, job descriptions, how to do resume’s screening, and how to interview candidates focusing on behavioural techniques. My passion for people and their careers started from there.

Ambition saw an opportunity and made a strategic move to invest in the public sector, as the demand remains strong even during economic downturns and contracts often span months or years, offering predictable income. So, here I am! Since 2020 I have been working and got to learn more about government recruitment in Australia. I cannot wait to make a difference and build something meaningful and sustainable for the business.

I know it is a bit of a cliché, but I do love people! Work represents a lot in a person’s life, and some people actually define themselves based on what they do for a living, so to be able to contribute to someone’s career and see their success, plus client satisfaction when you find the right candidate for their role, it’s an incredible feeling.

I have been in Australia for over 10 years, and in 2023 I proudly became a citizen of this beautiful country. Sydney is now home, and I couldn’t be happier.

I’m a big fan of live music and theatre, there’s nothing quite like the energy of a good pub or bar with blues or rock ’n’ roll playing. In 2025, I’ve had the chance to attend some incredible concerts, including Green Day, The Offspring, Touche Amore, Oasis, Metallica, AC/DC, and Franz Ferdinand.
