​I manage the marketing team at Ambition. We provide the business with marketing support across a wide variety of channels, utilising some of the best tools and tech in the market to run campaigns and initiatives. I started my career in recruitment back in London over 15 years ago as a consultant and have had the opportunity to not only see the recruitment process from a frontline sales and a back-office point of view but have also been able to work across two major regions.

I joined Ambition back in our London office as a recruitment consultant, making the move to the Sydney office in 2015. After building a desk in the Sydney office I decided it was time for a change and started studying marketing. It sounds cliché but I enjoyed the sales process, so I wanted to explore it from another angle. I was lucky enough to have leaders in our business who saw my potential and allowed me to make the move from sales to back-office. Being able to pull knowledge from my client-facing roles in the past has given me a deeper understanding of the consultant’s role, which has allowed me to support them in a way that bridges the gap between sales and back office.

Outside of work, I am a busy parent to a little boy who keeps me on my toes! I love keeping fit and watching sports like NRL (go the chooks!), cricket and Formula 1. I will give anything a go and love creative hobbies like sewing, painting and learning guitar – although with a little boy to entertain these days, it can be difficult to find the time, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
