Senior Financial Accoutant

Due to continuous growth and expansion, the company is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 first or second mover to gain hands-on commercial experience, reporting directly to a supportive and impressive Financial Controller.

The role will give you the opportunity to get exposure across a range of businesses across high end hospitality, property and childcare whist you work across the end-to-end accounting function.

Please note that the role will be divided across two locations - 3 days in Macquarie Park and two days in Manly.

Duties include:

• Oversee the full spectrum of financial accounting, including month-end and year-end processes.
• Month End & Quarterly financial reporting
• Preparation of consolidated statutory financial statements
• Actively participate in all internal and external audit engagements (e.g. year end audit)
• Review balance sheet reconciliations
• Participate in internal control and system reviews, document policies and procedures
• Manage tax compliance, including Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights

Skills:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Big 4 first or second mover/Second Tier mover essential
• Experience in financial reporting and taxation
• Strong communication and business partnering skills essential
