Senior Financial Accountant

About the Role

The Senior Accountant will work closely with a Sydney-based Finance Business Partner and senior leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis for a dynamic business unit. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing month-end processes, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
• Preparing P&L statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Partnering with operational leaders to provide insights that drive performance.
• Assisting with system migration and process improvements, including onboarding a recent acquisition and transitioning from Xero to Oracle NetSuite.

What We're Looking For

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards.
• Minimum 4+ years' experience in financial accounting roles.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability.
• Inquisitive and analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
