Senior Financial Accountant

Reputable global leader with a presence in more than 20 countries is recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant.

This finance and management reporting role will see you working closely with senior management to assist with the accurate internal and external statutory finance reports and ensuring proper controls are in place for finance compliance. You will review and manage financial performance and work with different departments in the organisation.

This hands-on role requires a highly analytical accountant with strong communication skills who can take ownership of their domain.

Duties include:

• Guarantee adherence to monthly, quarterly, and yearly internal and external reporting as well as financial regulatory obligations.
• Managing statutory records and aiding in the preparation of statutory accounts, aligning with company policies and legislative mandates.
• Oversee the local GL teams ensuring accurate accounting across ANZ and APAC
• approve reconciliations and reporting prepared by Global Shared Service, Debtors and Retail GL teams.
• Prepare inter-entity commission across APAC countries.
• Ensure all Policies, SOX Controls and Internal controls relating to all business processes are fully complied with and the quarterly SOX documentation is updated each quarter for review by the Finance Manager.
• Co-ordinate and execute of all internal and external audit requirements.

Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualified
• A minimum of 3 -5 years' experience in a similar role
• SOX compliance reporting experience
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in large ERP systems like Oracle
• Self-starters with strong communication skills.
