Project Accountant

Job description

Engineering and specialised services giant is recruiting for a Project Accountant to join their team.

Due to continuous growth the business just went through a big acquisition and is currently recruiting a Project Accountant to service the newly acquired business. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and finance by interpreting financial information on a weekly and monthly basis to support the business.

This role will be based in Enfield with parking provided.


Candidates with exposure in construction/engineering are urged to apply.

Duties include:

  • Monitoring project cost, revenue and forecasting
  • Working closely with Senior Engineers, General Manager and Senior Accountant to support end of month reporting
  • Review new contracts and prepare and submit accurate invoices to the clients
  • Documenting project progress
  • Assist in funding application, tenders and audit for government and financial institutions, including submission of timely information to different stakeholders;
  • Purchase orders and invoicing - creating new purchase orders from the purchase requisitions that are prepared by the Project Engineers and process invoices.

Skills

  • CA/CPA or studying towards
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
  • Preference will be given to candidate with experience working in Jobpac
  • Experience in construction or engineering highly desirable
