Group Financial Controller

Great opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to join an international data analytics company.

Boasting with a global presence and a workforce of more than 4000 people the company is going from strength to strength.

Reporting to the COO you will lead the financial accounting and operations finance team to ensure efficient and accurate reporting of transactions and financial results.

This role will be ideal for candidates with a background in chartered with post experience in a multinational commercial environment.

Duties include:

  • Group reporting function while being responsible for the transactional team, compliance, risk, financial planning and reporting and systems
  • Work closely with the APAC finance team and U.S. HQ to ensure consistency across the group from a finance perspective
  • Liaise with Global Treasurer on liquidity modelling and requests.
  • Oversee and support purchase and sales ledger by providing guidance to the AP/AR supervisor.
  • Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes for the APAC region.
  • Manage the cash flow and CAPEX forecasting process for the APAC region
  • Oversee and lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the APAC region
  • Control and oversight of group reporting timelines for month end and statutory reporting
  • Ensure consistent controls and processes are in place to capture the transactions and consolidation of the regions appropriately
  • Ensure compliance across all regions from the perspective of; Audit, GST/VAT, corporation tax, R&D and insurance

Skills:

  • CA/CPA
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a background in a chartered and commercial environment
  • Management experience essential
  • Proven background in strong stakeholder management
  • Multi-national reporting experience essential
