FP&A Manager

Job description

A Global Manufacturer is seeking a FP&A Manager for a 12-month fixed-term position.

This pivotal role entails overseeing the entire commercial profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities for two key divisions, in close collaboration with the General Manager and commercial leadership team.

We are looking for a capable business partner adept at management reporting and fostering collaboration across finance, sales, and supply chain functions.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in an international manufacturing/retail environment, demonstrating strong influencing and challenging skills.

Duties include:

  • Analyse commercial P&L against plans and prior years, providing concise reports to local and divisional teams. Interpret and communicate findings effectively within the division.
  • Compile budget and regular forecasting
  • Monitor and provide analytics to ANZ team to drive business decisions
  • Create financial models and simulate various scenarios for business opportunities and special projects.
  • Conduct post-contract reviews to assess costing accuracy, contribute to pricing decisions, and offer financial assistance for strategic and operational decision-making at the business unit level.
  • Work closely with Management team to support sales growth. This includes monitoring key sales drivers, price increase initiatives, sales efficiently and project pipelines
  • Diverse range of tasks including pricing, project management, P&L analysis, and challenging.

About you:

  • CA/CPA essential
  • Preference will be given to candidates from a multinational retail manufacturing environment
  • Strong commercial experience in an analytical role working with various stakeholders
  • Experience in SAP and Power BI will be favourable
  • Strong business partnering experience working with local and global teams
