Financial Accountant

Job description

A leader in Supply Chain management is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and joining a close-knit team of 5 this role will see you be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger and subsidiary systems while preparing timely and precise financial reports.

Duties include:

  • Prepare month-end payroll journals as needed and conduct review and analysis.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Compliance with annual workers compensation requirements
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Payroll Tax, PAYG, BAS, and FBT
  • Assist with end of month reporting including the development of reports on key areas and budgeting and forecasts.

Skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified or near completion
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills
  • Experience working on Oracle will be highly advantageous.
