Job description

Financial Accountant role at infrastructure giant on the forefront of driving Australia towards renewable energy resources.

As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for financial reporting, maintaining the general ledger and interpretation of financial performance to management.

The role requires a strong communicator who can work closely with management reporting on the financial performance of the business.

Duties include:

  • Managing month end close and completing month end journals and reconciliations.
  • Managing the variance analysis for month end financials.
  • Preparation of internal & external reporting
  • Managing and reviewing costs to ensure correctly coded, journal processing and ensuring accruals and prepayments processed in a timely manner.
  • Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to management while recommending further courses of action from time to time.
  • Managing the variance analysis for month end financials.
  • Preparing BAS and FBT returns.
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Monitoring cash flow

About you:

  • CPA/CA qualified
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
    Preference will be given to candidates from a large national business
  • Experience in Oracle essential
