Financial Accountant

Job description

Global technology infrastructure company at the forefront innovative technology solutions is hiring a Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will join a team of three experienced Accountants contributing to the end-to-end financial accounting for the APAC region.

You will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, intercompany transactions processing and cashflow forecasting.

Duties include:

  • Prepare various APAC entities statutory annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS accounting standards
  • Preparation, submission, and reconciliation of monthly BAS returns
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with month end timetable and resolve unreconciling items.
  • Prepare and present weekly cash flow forecasting for APAC entities and recommend cash transfers / funding as required.
  • Preparation, submission, and reconciliation of monthly BAS returns
  • Perform Corporate Credit Card reconciliation and follow up on outstanding balances with credit card holders
  • Prepare & submit state workers compensation wages declarations
  • Maintenance of capital projects and control of accounting fixed asset register and tax asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation
  • Banking system administration including updating for all authorised signatories
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Perform foreign currency revaluation, calculate FX gain/ loss and prepare all Treasury accounting entries including hedge accounting

Skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Proficient in SAP
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in financial accounting role
  • Knowledge of APAC regional income tax
  • Strong knowledge and application of IFRS accounting standards and principles
