Finance Manager

We're partnering with a fast-growing business that is developing advanced technological and practical solutions across several high-impact industries. As the company continues to scale, they are looking for a technically astute Finance Manager to lead a small team and own the integrity of financial operations

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you'll be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the business while managing and mentoring a team of two. This is a broad and dynamic role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process and implement robust management reporting
• Ensure integrity of the financial statements and balance sheet, including reviewing reconciliations, tax returns, BAS, and payroll
• Drive the external audit process and preparation of statutory financial statements in line with accounting standards
• Support the preparation of board reports and presentations
• Strengthen internal controls, governance, and finance policies
• Partner closely with key stakeholders across the business to support strategic decision-making

About You:

• CPA or CA qualified
• Trained in a Big 4 or second-tier accounting firm essential
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Finance Manager in a commercial finance role (post-public practice)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative, business-focused mindset
• Enjoys leading and developing junior team members

Please note that this role will requires minimum two days in office attendance.
