Finance Manager

Listed property giant is recruiting for a Finance Manager for their retail funds business.

This highly interactive business facing role will see you act as the conduit between multiple accounting and Operational teams as well as the portfolio managers to assisting with back of house accounting operations.

A key aspect of the role will involve helping the team transition financial management onto MRI platform. This includes coordinating with the Portfolio Manager and Asset Managers for monthly financial reporting and, when needed, offering guidance and expertise to reconcile accounts with both major retailers and other accounts.

This role reports directly to the Head of Finance.

Duties include:

• Review and consolidate commentary from external property and asset managers
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual property reports
• Collaborate with Funds Management, Asset Management, Development, and Shared Service
• Assist in preparing and consolidating annual budgets
• Act as liaison for major tenants
• Coordinate the annual auditing program with external auditors
• Support Retail Analyst with monthly performance reports

Skills:

• CA/CPA qualified essential
• Preference will be given to candidates form a chartered background who transitioned into property
• Experience with retail commercial property management is essential
• Experience working with MRI property management systems and power BI platforms
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Experience in trust and property accounting, candidates with experience in retail shopping centre accounts management will be highly favoured
