Finance Manager

Recruiting for a Finance Manager at a top-tier educational institution.

As Finance Manager you will be part of prestigious institution renowned for its rich history and invaluable reputation.

Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for accurate and timely completion of the accounting function for the business.

The role will suit candidates with a proven managerial and end to end finance experience who are comfortable with working with different stakeholders across the business.

Duties include:

• Finance reporting, compliance and overseeing transactional team
• Manage an Assistant Accountant and Payroll Officer
• Complete FBT return and prepare BAS statements
• Manage working capital
• Ensure accurate completion of fortnightly payroll
• Maintain integrity of general ledger
• Quarterly board reporting and presenting for finance sub-committee
• Ensure all finance functions are completed so external reporting can be completed within all statutory and legal requirements
• Maintain asset register and depreciation schedules
• Liaise with external auditors

About you:

• CA/CPA qualified
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial environment
• Managerial experience essential
• Advanced Excel skills
• Deadline driven with the ability to work with various stakeholders.
