Finance Manager

Exciting opportunity for a finance all-rounder to join a tech unicorn company.

The company is growing at a rapid pace and delivers custom solutions to some of the most recognised global brands.

In this role, you can expect ever day to be distinct from the last. As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the full end-to-end finance function whilst partnering with various stakeholders across the business.Your days will vary between invoicing suppliers, assisting with AP&AR, full monthly P&L reviews - you will be across it all.

The role would suit a curious, social, and motivated connector who enjoys number crunching but also working with the sales and customer teams to help them understand business drivers.

Duties include:

  • Prepare journal entries and various reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances with the parent company
  • Supervise and support two junior accountants (offshore)
  • Complete full monthly P&L reviews with the CFO and business leaders in Australia and UK
  • Investigate any variances to budgets and forecasts
  • Management of all vendor payments
  • Tax compliance fillings
  • Assisting leaers with the quarterly sales targets and monitor their performance and commission calculations
  • Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements to parent company in the UK
  • Monthly Client Margin reporting to ensure the profitability of the client is maintained and any risks identified and communicated to leadership immediately

Skills:

  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Experience in managing a full end-to-end external Audit Process
  • Experience in Netsuite beneficial but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with others in a professional and influential manner

This is a fully remote role - but if you feel like you want to go to the office - they have an office located in Sydney CBD.

Preference given to candidates who can start immediately or who can be negotiable on notice period.
