Senior Finance Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst role at infrastructure giant at the forefront of driving Australia towards renewable energy resources.

Join a dynamic team working on major multi-billion-dollar projects. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner you will support the financial management, budget, planning and analysis of major projects. You will work on a portfolio of projects varying form $500m to $1BN at any given time.

The role will suit an individual with strong business partnering experience with the ability to deal with various senior stakeholders.

Duties include:

• Develop and maintain financial models to provide detailed cost benefit analysis for capex projects and provide relevant reporting to stakeholders.
  Running month end actuals for Capex
  Assist business unit with effective cost management and cost controls
• Preparation of annual budget and monthly forecast for the assigned business unit, review and interrogate financial information and systems with a view to validate, challenge and improve
• Provide financial reports, performance dashboards for Opex, Capex and non-financial measures, comparing actuals to expected outcomes and delivering commentary and actionable insights to Leadership Team
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• 5 Year business plan
• Monthly P&L review, variance analysis and commentary
• Monthly Executive/Board reporting pack
• Project profitability analysis along with recommendations
• In-depth cost analysis for business units and advise for effective cost management
• Project cashflow forecast
• CAPEX performance and reporting

Skills:

• CPA/CA qualification
• A minimum of four years' experience in an analytical role in a Engineering/Construction/Renewable energy company
• Strong analytical skills
• Background in working on large projects.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working on Oracle.
