Job description
Join a prominent independent statutory body as a Corporate Accountant.
This unique opportunity allows you to become part of a small, close-knit team, working directly with the Head of Finance and the Financial Controller. You'll have the chance to enhance your skills and grow your career while participating in various ad-hoc projects.
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Support finance team with timely reporting, complete end-of-month journals, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Track payments and expenditures, reconcile processed work, and verify accounting entries for accuracy.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management. Ensure integrity of financial data, raise invoices, manage accounts inbox and invoices database, process approved invoices, and handle staff/vendor queries.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, propose fund transfers, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Top of FormAssist the Financial Controller with internal audits and preparing BAS and FBT returns
Skills:
- CA or CPA qualified essential
- Solid understanding of accounting with excellent bookkeeping and data entry skills, developed through a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a corporate environment.

- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
