Commercial Analyst

A high‑growth global organisation is seeking a Commerciall Analyst to support forecasting, planning, and performance analysis across its local and gloabl regiona. This role sits within a dynamic finance team that partners closely with commercial and operational stakeholders to drive meaningful business outcomes.

This is an initial 5‑month contract with a strong opportunity to convert to permanent for the right candidate.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering accurate forecasting, providing performance insights, and strengthening financial transparency across a complex, product‑driven environment. You'll work cross‑functionally, support planning cycles, and contribute to ongoing process and reporting improvements.

Responsiblities:
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and budget vs. actual analysis within defined variance thresholds
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and business decision‑making
  • Prepare high‑quality reporting and presentations with a strong commercial narrative
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to analyse key trends, revenue drivers, and operational performance
  • Support monthly and quarterly review cycles by consolidating regional financial inputs
  • Contribute to long‑term planning including budgets, rolling forecasts, and 3‑year plans
  • Drive improvements in reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and process optimisation
  • Support ad‑hoc commercial projects requiring analytical insight

About skills:

  • 3-5+ years' experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, business planning, or FP&A
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in product‑based businesses (technology hardware, consumer goods, manufacturing, retail products, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel and modelling capability; comfortable working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non‑finance stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with commercial, operational, or supply‑chain teams
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles
