Client Service Manager - Wealth Management

About the Role

We're seeking a Client Service Manager to support a high-performing Wealth Management team in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to Financial Advisers and their clients, ensuring the smooth onboarding, maintenance, and ongoing management of client accounts.

To succeed, you'll bring strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities confidently. You'll be someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys working collaboratively, and has a solid understanding of financial markets and the financial advice process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end client onboarding, including preparation of required documentation
  • Maintain accurate client records in line with AML/CTF and KYC requirements
  • Prepare valuations, asset allocations and other client reports as needed
  • Assist with both domestic and international asset transfers
  • Manage IPO and corporate action allocations
  • Monitor stock settlements, outstanding funds and ensure timely follow‑up
  • Support advisers by prioritising requests effectively in a busy environment
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Participate in cross‑training and process improvement initiatives
  • Proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and communicate clearly with advisers and clients
  • Adhere to all regulatory, compliance and ethical standards
  • (Preferred) Understanding of W8BEN, CRS, Opt‑In, FDS and related advice documents

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
  • Industry qualifications (e.g. RG146, Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning) highly regarded but not essential

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Client Service role preferred
  • Experience in wealth management, financial planning or related financial services is advantageous
  • Familiarity with broking platforms, portfolio management systems (e.g. Praemium, Macquarie, Netwealth), or corporate action dashboards is beneficial
