Assistant Manager- Private Capital Fund Administration

We're seeking a highly experienced Fund Administration Assistant Manager to lead a team of accountants and oversee the end-to-end administration of private capital funds. This is a key leadership role within our operations team, offering the opportunity to work closely with clients and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of fund accountants, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) and maintain the Accounting Book of Records.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Coordinate and review capital activity processes including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and share/unit transfers.
  • Supervise investment activity processing and related payments.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of client reporting.
  • Manage performance fee calculations including carried interest, waterfall models, and management fees.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of funds and clients.
  • Monitor service delivery against SLAs and maintain a strong internal control framework.
  • Participate in system enhancement projects and operational improvements.
  • Report directly to the Head of Operations and support broader team and company initiatives.


Experience

  • Qualified professional demonstrating a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services industry and accounting, especially on alternatives fund structure
  • Strong understanding of fund documentation including LPAs and Prospectuses.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Experience with eFront Invest is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in private capital fund administration is essential.
