My background:
After starting my recruitment career in the UK, I joined Ambition in Melbourne in 2010 and am currently a Principal Consultant within the Banking and Financial Services team. My clients span domestic start-up funds to global investment banks, and I specialise in placing candidates from graduate to executive level across the front, middle and back office.
I have a genuine passion for recruitment, take pride in my work and always try to ensure that placements are a good match for all parties. I aim to build strong, long-term and mutually beneficial relationships by being responsive, acting with honesty and integrity and by listening to clients and candidates needs. As a result, I have a number of long-term clients who I have successfully partnered with across multiple recruitment projects, while I have also assisted many candidates several times throughout their career journey. Even after 10 years, I still get a buzz when placing hard to fill roles and when finding candidates their dream job.
Outside of work I enjoy all sports and especially AFL, where my decision to support the mighty Richmond Tigers back in 2010 has recently proven to be a very good decision.

Recent projects:
Over the past year I worked closely with two ASX listed financial services firms who had won a number of large corporate clients and who were looking to build out their investment operations and account management functions. This involved recruiting a large number of positions at different levels of seniority and across different business units with all roles to be filled by a specific date. Throughout the process I liaised extensively with senior leaders to determine their needs and to keep them abreast of the recruitment process. With candidates, I employed a range of strategies to source those with extremely specific skills sets while also coaching them on interview techniques and offer negotiation. The end result was that all roles were filled by the desired start date.
