Tax and Reporting - Funds Management

This multinational powerhouse is the envy of its peers. Offering a wide range of fund services and capital market products to top-tier corporations, governments, and institutional investors worldwide.

Currently they are seeking multiple tax and reporting staff at all levels. From accountants to senior manager/'heads of' type of experience. The roles will sit in the fund services division and drive the planning, review and follow up of year end deliverables for their fund management clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the execution of key reporting/tax processes, ensuring meticulous accuracy, scrutiny, and superior quality assurance of all deliverables from their dynamic offshore team.
• Serve as the go-to expert for all matters pertaining to reporting, tax and compliance with industry standards.
• Cultivate strong client relationships, taking charge of client interactions and managing complex queries with finesse and efficiency.
• Monitor and optimise workflows across the organisation to guarantee the timely and efficient delivery of financial statements, tax statements, statutory and ad hoc documentation.
• Lead and mentor a dynamic team (depending on the applicant's level), providing comprehensive guidance and fostering a culture of excellence in people management.

Requirements:

• Unparalleled industry experience within the funds management, professional/business services sector, with a strong understanding of reporting and/or taxation concepts.
• Expertise in accounting for funds, showcasing a strong grasp of trial balance concepts and comprehensive knowledge of various financial instruments and their classifications.
• Previous experience in superannuation reporting is highly desirable but not essential.
