Senior Tax Analyst

This is an opportunity to join a supportive tax team within one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure businesses. Reporting to the Head of Group Tax, you will be part of a small team of senior tax professionals who will support this global business by -

  • Providing timely and accurate tax advice to key stakeholders
  • Undertaking research and preparing RAPs and other technical papers
  • Preparing & reviewing tax compliance / tax reporting (income tax returns, BAS, FBT returns, tax effect accounting)
  • Understanding the regulatory environment (domestic and international) and effect on business / investors.
  • Development and maintenance of controls and systems to support the tax reporting framework.

Apart from technical excellence, my client is looking for someone who is outstanding at communication, and managing / fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your stakeholders will will range from junior staff in the finance team, to the CFO, external advisors and regulatory bodies.

This organisation offers a 50% work from home policy and are based in the CBD.

The salary range on offer is $145k - $160k + super, depending on experience.
