Senior Lead Engineer - Mobile App Developer

Ambition are working with an IT services companies to support them and their clients with an on-going, complex digital transformation project. As part of the next phase of the project, they need a Senior Lead Mobile Engineer to join the team on a contract basis.

In this role, you will help drive the front-end development of their native iOS and Android applications. In this role, you'll support technical design, coding standards, and best practices while working hands-on across modern mobile technologies.

You'll bring strong API expertise using Swagger, deep experience with Typescript, and a solid background working with React and React Native. Their mobile stack is built on Expo (EAS / Expo Go), and you'll play a key role in enhancing and scaling their mobile capabilities.

You'll be expected to work closely with the engineering teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Microsoft Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth deployment and high-quality delivery.

You, as the ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ Year experience working with iOS and Android applications
• Experience with React / React Native
• Azure deployment experience
• Hold Australian PR or Citizenship
• Be based in Sydney and able to work in the office 2-3 days per week

This is an urgent contract requirement due to new budget being secured to last an initial 4-5 months, with a very high chance of extension.
