Senior Financial Accountant - Canberra

I am partnering with a well-known manufacturing brand in looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to assist them in producing up-to-date and accurate financial reports in time for their integration and data migration.

This would suit candidates who has previous experience in managing a backlog in balance sheet reconciliations with investigation for discrepancies, who can work autonomously and have intermediate to advance MS Excel skills. Ideally immediately available or with short notice.

ABOUT THE JOB
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be looking after the following:

• Review and completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations and addressing discrepancies
• Insure inventory accounting (including provisions, costing, etc) is accurate and up to date
• Prepare financial reports including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statement
• Assist the Financial Controller with cash flow forecasting and management
• Assist the Financial Controller in system and data migration
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting and tax accounting

ABOUT YOU

• Degree qualified with CPA/CA accreditation
• Extensive commercial financial accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing
• Experience with Bill of materials and/or inventory accounting (highly regarded)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Great Plains (highly regarded)
• Immediately available or with short notice
