Senior Financial Accountant

We are partnered with a renowned global investment manager that is looking to hire new Senior Financial accountant to join their Real Estate team based in Sydney. The role has been created due to an increased demand within the Real Estate team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is keen to grow their expertise across real estate, funds management, and asset management. You'll be working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and operational support.

What you'll be doing

• Manage month-end processes including journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and IFRS adjustments
• Prepare and analyse financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and budget variances
• Reconcile property management accounts across various asset classes
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely month-end close
• Support project cost tracking and reconciliation with budgeting systems

What We're Looking For

• CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, ideally within property, funds management, or financial services
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
• Experience with large accounting systems (MRI essential)
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to contribute to a positive team culture
