Senior Financial Accountant

National services provider with a nationwide footprint is recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant - Immediate start!

• Immediate start
• $50 - $55 ph + super
• 6 month contract initially - Genuine temp to perm role

This genuine temp to perm opportunity will see you sitting in a head office function supporting the Finance Manager and be responsible for corporate month end reporting, financial analysis, and accounts consolidation.

The successful candidates must have extensive experience in processing intercompany transactions in a large ERP in relation to sales/purchases, payroll and overhead recharges.

Duties include:

• Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports

• Month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis

• Review and assessment of key financial statements to ensure data accuracy

• Reconciliation of intercompany transactions and loan balances within the organization

• Monthly variance analysis of financial results

• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

• Support in the preparation, submission, and filing of payroll tax and PAYG returns on a monthly basis

• Assistance with the preparation, submission, and lodgment of BAS returns monthly

• Participation in bi-annual audits

• Contribution to special projects and implementations as needed

Skills:

• CA/CA qualified

• Experience working with a large ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics

• General knowledge of payroll tax, superannuation, GST, PAYG, FBT

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
