Senior Accountant

A reputable hospitality organisation, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is based in Sydney CBD. This integral hands-on role will see you working closely with the Head of Finance to report on the hotel's operational spending. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with experience in hospitality.

Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing end-to-end month-close processes.
• Analysing and presenting monthly reports.
• Analyse profit and loss report for multiple outlets.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Identifying key performance drivers.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews.
• Weekly management reporting, including actuals and forecasts.
• Responsible for preparing and processing payroll.
• Supervising and developing a team of three.

Required Experience:

• CA/CPA qualified.
• Ambitious with progressive accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in financial management and reporting.
• Hospitality industry experience is highly desirable but not essential.
• Advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
