Take ownership of the daily financial management of retail property portfolio, driving accuracy across controls, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.

The Role:
As the Accountant, you will work closely with Senior Accountants, reporting to the Finance Manager and be responsible for:

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting results and management reporting
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare annual estimates and adjustments; manage approvals and respond to queries
• Compile information for audits (statutory and trust)
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes and related reporting
• Deliver variance analysis and commentary for monthly and quarterly reports
• Identify and implement improvements in month-end reporting
• Drive process improvements and challenge existing practices

Qualifications and Skills:

• CA/CPA qualified or currently completing certification
• Experienced in end-to-end month-end processes
• Exposure to property, real estate, or funds management industries
• Skilled at collaborating with a range of non-financial stakeholders across the business
• Strong Excel and systems proficiency; confident working with large datasets
• Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
