Project Accountant

Our client, a well-established property development company with deep roots in the community, is seeking a Project Accountant to play a pivotal role in their financial operations. THE ROLE

• Project accounting - maintain project budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports for project stakeholders.
• Partner with project managers and support them with financial insights and decision making.
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure invoices are properly allocated to the correct project accounts.
• Month end and Year End reporting.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS for development entities.

THE PERSON

• Prior experience with project accounting
• Property development/construction industry experience
• CA/CPA qualification preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred but not essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships internal and external stakeholders
