Job Description: Principal Tech Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Principal Tech Lead with a strong technical foundation and a knack for solving complex problems. This role is pivotal as both an individual contributor and a tech lead, dedicating 50% of time to technical coding/engineering and the remaining 50% to driving business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with product owners to ensure technical objectives are met within the digital domain, fostering growth and operational efficiency.

This will be a hybrid working role in Sydney (flexibility with working from home).

Key Responsibilities:

• Indirectly leading multiple squads, ensuring delivery against business goals.
• Define technical direction, set strategy frameworks, and engage in hands-on coding to develop new portals and large scale applications.
• Influence senior leaders and structure to enhance perspective and efficiency.
• Focus on scalability challenges, extending and reusing platforms across regions on a shared infrastructure.
• Drive quarterly agile planning and OKR setting, aligning technology needs with business objectives to achieve key results.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with ability to be hands-on with the coding.
• Ability to blend technical expertise with business acumen and effective communicate to various stakeholders in the business.
• Experience in delivering complex projects with demonstrable achievements.
• Proficiency in either .NET, Java, and/or Angular
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles preferred.
• Understanding of automation, testing, and engineering to solution design.
