Pricing Analyst

Job description

Our client is a leading provider of automotive aftermarket parts and services across Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. They operate through various channels and have experienced significant growth through strategic acquisitions. You will be reporting to the Commerical Manager FP&A.

As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting strategic pricing decisions through insightful analysis and structured reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage a broad range of information effectively. You will work closely with various business units to understand key performance drivers and identify opportunities to improve profitability.

You will collaborate with operation teams to align commercial strategies and provide guidance on contracts and promotions. You will develop pricing models, analyze sales trends, and monitor competitor pricing. The role includes streamlining processes, automating reports, supporting pricing management, and participating in special projects and ad-hoc analysis.

This is a 6-month contract to cover maternity leave, starting in June. Hybrid working arrangements are available, and the role is based in the South East of Melbourne.
