Platform Team Lead

My client, an ASX listed property company based in Sydney's CBD is seeking a Platform Team Lead to join their Application Delivery Team.

The purpose of the role is to provide leadership and management of the Anaplan platform (Anaplan experience is desirable, will consider candidates with similar platform management experience). Your time will be split between team management, BAU and project work. You will have 3 direct reports and will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing this team.

You will be able to work with a great deal of autonomy and influence tech decisions within a collaborative Agile development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach and mentor the Anaplan development team
  • Research, develop and maintain a technical roadmap for Anaplan
  • Actively manage the development pipeline for Anaplan requirements with the Application Delivery
    Manager and plan technical and functional resources accordingly
  • Provide expert advice on changes to the solution design and escalate and manage risks
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Functional leads and Business Stakeholders to develop sustainable
  • and innovative solutions aligned with business needs
  • Educate internal stakeholders including Product Managers and other application leads on application capabilities to be further leveraged or improved.
  • Represent the Anaplan application as part of the Architecture Review Board to provide input to roadmap Development.
  • Act as the technical owner for Anaplan
  • Co-ordinate's system unit testing, training, user acceptance testing of solutions and production changes
    and upgrades.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with key Vendors and Support Partners, creating a
    scalable and flexible Corporate Technology delivery platform; Oversees all external partnerships and
    effectively prioritises and aligns vendor partners in the seamless joint delivery of customer capabilities,
    solutions and services.

Required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ Years of team Leadership experience, with proven experience developing high performing teams
  • A solid understanding of key platform management principles and frameworks (Anaplan experience desirable)
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen ability to learn new technologies and work within a fast paced, agile and constantly evolving landscape
