Manager, Digital Strategy

About Us:


Our client is a leading professional body committed to supporting its members with industry insights, training, certification, research, and conferences. They are currently undergoing a digital first transformation over the next two years to enhance their services and better serve the member community.

This is a delivery-focused position, where the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of the digital strategy. As part of this initiative, the client has implemented Dynamics CRM, along with other platforms on the Microsoft stack. Such as, Power Automate, PowerBI, PowerApps and SharePoint online. Now in phase 2 of the program, the client is looking for a technical, hands-on leader to drive the development standards within the Dynamics 365 environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of 6 individuals to ensure the successful delivery of the digital first strategy.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture to drive successful outcomes.

Platform Improvement:

  • Identify improvement opportunities across the suite of business platforms, including Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, and website migration.
  • Take the lead on technical requirements for phase 2 of the program. Eg. building new workflows and automations through power automate or building a smart form on SharePoint.
  • Conduct business/system analysis on core business processes to optimize efficiency.

Vendor Management:

  • Take a lead role in managing relationships with 3 key vendors to ensure adherence to SLAs and successful solution delivery.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with the digital strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with various teams and departments to drive collaboration and support.

Qualifications:

  • Technical background in digital transformation, program/project management, and people management.
  • Proven experience with Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, PowerBI,
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to drive system analysis.
  • Previous experience in managing vendors and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Familiarity with complex members-based organizations is highly desirable.
