Management accountant -Immediate start

  • $50 - $55 per hour + super
  • Sydney CBD
  • 3 month contracting opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their Sydney based team.

This full-time, three-month position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance the company's financial stability and contribute to its strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of pertinent experience, coupled with a strong grasp of accounting principles and financial management.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets and forecasts across multiple cost centres and business units, aligning with financial and calendar years.
  • Oversee project financials, including setup, budgeting, and expenditure tracking; facilitate project creation and ensure accurate system setup.
  • Process end of month journals, such as prepayments, accruals and review cost centres
  • Build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage issues, and concerns effectively, investigate and discuss variances, and provide guidance and advice

Skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with a large ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
