My client is a large and trusted hospitality brand with more than 900 properties in over 200 cities spanning more than 40 countries. In Australia, their portfolio comprises renowned serviced apartment, co-living, and hotel brands.

About the Role

They are looking for a Hotel Finance Manager to join their corporate team based in Collingwood.

A team of hotel accountants will support you with the nitty gritty of the month-end process and financial reporting, and you will be responsible for reviewing their work and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Your focus in this role will be more forward looking - your responsibilities will include liaising with property managers on their P&L and discussing results, budgeting/forecasting, business planning, board reporting, management reporting, onboarding new hotels, ensuring compliance with internal standards, and enforcing / improving hotel accounting policies and procedures.

About You

You will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant with at least 7 years' experience in finance leadership positions within a franchised hotel, ideally, with multi-property exposure. You will have had proven experience in developing accounting policies and procedures and efficient business processes, as well as in the implementation of financial accounting systems or the reengineering of such systems.

The salary on offer is $140k - $160k + super depending on experience. Interstate travel will also be required for this role.
