Finance Systems Implementation Accountant - 6 Month Contract
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Systems Implementation Accountant to join a high-performing team delivering a global ERP and budget management system transformation. This role is critical in supporting the implementation of new finance systems and processes that underpin a global expense budget exceeding $300 million and a capital works program of over $100 million annually.
You will work across multiple regions and time zones, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery, data integrity, and user adoption of new systems.
Candidates must have a proven track record of successfully delivering ERP implementations, with strong hands-on experience specifically in Sage Intacct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of a global finance reporting and planning solution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues
- Drive automation of global and regional reporting processes
- Manage ERP modules including AP, AR, GL, payroll, fixed assets, and more
- Configure and maintain financial system settings and documentation
- Assist with change management, training, and onboarding/offboarding project resources
- Coordinate system enhancements with third-party vendors
- Support budgeting processes and report template development
About You:
You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance systems expert with:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance
- CPA, CIMA or CA highly desirable
- 10+ years of experience in finance or administration with strong IT affinity
- Proven ERP experience - Sage Intacct Essential
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- A collaborative mindset and ability to manage change effectively
