Financial Control & Transformation Manager

About the Role
We're partnering with a growing financial services organisation to recruit a Financial Control & Transformation Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing finance team that's driving both operational excellence and strategic change.

The team currently consists of three Accountants and one Manager, delivering strong results in financial control. However, the transformation agenda is where they need additional expertise. Following a major acquisition last year, the business has been simplifying corporate structures and consolidating systems-moving from three general ledgers to a single Workday platform.

This role will sit within the Financial Control & Transformation team and report directly to the Head of Finance. While the primary focus is financial control, you'll also play a key role in ongoing transformation projects and occasionally support regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial control processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Drive transformation initiatives, including system optimisation and process improvement.
• Support corporate simplification projects post-acquisition.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and operations to deliver change.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in financial control with exposure to transformation projects.
• Background in banking or financial services.
• Ability to balance BAU control responsibilities with strategic change initiatives.
