Financial Accountant - Experience with SUN system Essential

Join a leading hospitality group as a Financial Accountant on an initial contract through to February 2026. You'll support month-end, audit, and statutory reporting across a dynamic, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-of-month close including reconciliations to the Trial Balance, General Ledger, Balance Sheet, and supplier statements.

• Applicants must have recent, hands-on SunSystems (SUN) experience, this is essential for success in the role.

• Prepare and post journals accurately and on time.

• Support internal and external audits with complete, compliant documentation.

• Liaise with Operations, Front Office, and F&B to gather and analyse financial data.

• Assist with cash flow management, expense control, and identifying financial risks.

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified, or working towards

• Proven Financial Accountant experience in complex, fast-paced environments (hospitality a plus).

• Recent, practical experience with SunSystems (SUN) is essential

• Concur experience highly regarded.

• Hit-the-ground-running mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
