Financial Accountant ANZ

A leading global business in advanced technology solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its high-performing team. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will see you take ownership for the end to end reporting for the Australia and New Zealand entities. This role will give you the opportunity to work across local and international teams and working with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close processes for ANZ entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare statutory accounts and ensure tax compliance across income tax, GST, FBT, and payroll tax
• Manage journals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required
• Support ongoing improvements to finance processes and controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC, global HQ, and global distribution networks

You will bring:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Preference will be given to candidate who have experience working at Multinational companies
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and month-end processes
• SAP experience
• Experience or interest in global distribution and warehouse operations highly regarded
