About the Client:
Our client is a prominent player in the Australian property sector. Due to growth, they are seeking a Financial Accountant. The role involves managing day-to-day property accounting for the assigned portfolio, including financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and all associated reporting.
The Role:
As the Financial Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for:
Delivering monthly management reporting for the assigned portfolio.
Conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparing financial statements, including budget analysis.
Consolidating data and preparing records for various audits.
Identifying and implementing process improvements for month-end reporting.
Handling ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
CA/CPA qualified or near-qualified.
Chartered background, preferably from Mid-Tier or Big 4 firms.
High system proficiency with exposure to various systems and large datasets.
Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
