We're partnering with a leading global services group with a significant presence across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider APAC region. The business provides complex, people‑centric solutions to major corporates and government clients, operating at scale across multiple service lines.

They are known for their supportive culture, strong leadership, structured training, and modern approach to financial control. With ongoing growth across the region, the team is now looking to appoint a Financial Accountant in their Sydney CBD office.

Sitting within the ANZ Financial Control team, this position plays a key part in delivering accurate month‑end reporting, strong balance sheet governance, and proactive analysis across the business.

You will work closely with local finance, offshore shared‑services teams , and group finance stakeholders across the region.

Key requirements:

  • Strong Excel is essential - pivots, VLOOKUP, SUMIF
  • Power Query experience preferred (or evidence of learning/using automation tools)
  • Solid understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow
  • High attention to detail and a 'can‑do' attitude
  • CPA/CA qualified or progressing (study support offered)
  • Experience in a shared‑services or multi‑entity environment is desirable
