Financial Accountant

The Role:

This is a true all rounder position that combines day to day transactional responsibilities with hands on involvement in month end processes and financial reporting.

• Managing regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and posting month end journals, including accruals and reallocations
• Overseeing AP and AR reconciliations and ensuring transactions are finalised before close
• Supporting payroll preparation and associated reconciliations
• Preparing month end reporting schedules and analysis for the Financial Controller
• Assisting with FBT and depreciation requirements
• Contributing to the delivery of timely, accurate month end results across the group

About You:

• 4+ years experience in a Financial Accountant role
• CPA or CA qualified (essential)
• Strong understanding of GST, FBT and payroll obligations
• Experience assisting in monthly payroll preparation
• Strong Excel capability
• Experience with Xero, MYOB and Employment Hero
• High attention to detail, proactive mindset and ability to meet deadlines
