Financial Accountant - Permanent Opportunity

Join a high-growth, Australian tech business on a mission to simplify compliance. This broad role blends core financial accounting with management reporting, budgeting/forecasting and cost analysis. This is ideal for someone ready to move beyond purely transactional work and add real commercial impact.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain GL, journals and reconciliations; support month-end close.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports with variance analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and working capital.
  • Contribute to investor packs/financial presentations and liaise with auditors.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, controls and reporting.

About you:

  • CA/CPA completed
  • 2-4 years accounting experience in a dynamic or fast-growing environment.
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles, financial statements and management reporting.
  • Proficient with accounting software such as Xero and strong Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
