This role is perfect for an Assistant Accountant or Accountant experienced in complex, multi-location businesses who is eager to advance their career with a leading employer.

In this role, you'll support financial operations and controls across multiple sites, enhance reporting processes, and deliver high-quality insights to internal and external stakeholders, playing a key role in enabling informed, strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work alongside Senior Accountants as the Accountant and be entrusted with:

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting results and management reporting
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare annual estimates and adjustments; manage approvals and respond to queries
  • Compile information for audits (statutory and trust)
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes and related reporting
  • Deliver variance analysis and commentary for monthly and quarterly reports
  • Identify and implement improvements in month-end reporting
  • Drive process improvements and challenge existing practices

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified or currently completing certification
  • Experienced in end-to-end month-end processes
  • Skilled at collaborating with a range of non-financial stakeholders across the business
  • High system proficiency - exposure to various systems and large dataset
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
