Financial Accountant

Are you a technically strong accountant with a background in chartered firms and recent commercial experience in a multinational environment? We're working exclusively with a global healthcare business to recruit a Financial Accountant to support their ANZ operations.


This is a great opportunity to step into a broad accounting role where you'll gain exposure to both local and international reporting, tax compliance, and monthly financial close for multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end close processes for ANZ entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Prepare statutory accounts and ensure tax compliance across income tax, GST, FBT, and payroll tax
  • Manage journals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required
  • Support ongoing improvements to finance processes and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC and global HQ


You will bring:

  • CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • Trained in a Chartered Accounting firm, with 1-2 years' commercial experience in a large or multinational business
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and month-end processes
  • SAP experience (essential)
