Financial Accountant

We are partnered with a fast-growing healthcare company based in Sydney CBD, who are seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant to join their business on an initial 6 month contract. The role will have potential to go perm, though the candidate must be available on 2 weeks notice or less to begin the contract.

To apply, candidates must have at least 3-4 years of industry accounting experience and there is a strong preference for those who have worked with SAP or other large ERP systems.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Perform ad hoc financial tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CA qualification
• SAP experience highly preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in financial accounting or related role
