Finance Business Analyst

Our client are a high growth infrastructure client who have doubled in revenue turnover since last year. This will be an immediate 2-3 month Finance Business Analyst role where, you will play a critical role in improving finance processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, having worked with ME close, with additional business analyst experience, having documented finance processes and provided process efficiencies to finance and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
• Map out finance processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Analyze financial data, including but not limited to budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful reports to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Experience with month end reporting as well as finance process mapping and process improvements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
