Finance Business Analyst

Job description

Our client are a high growth infrastructure client who have doubled in revenue turnover since last year. This will be a 3 month ongoing contract. This is a Finance Business Analyst role where, you will play a critical role in improving finance processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, having worked with ME close, with additional finance business analyst experience, having documented finance processes and provided process efficiencies to finance and the business.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand business objectives
  • Map out finance processes, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Forecast to Plan and costing methodologies
  • Review month end processes, reporting and close procedures
  • Analyze financial data, including but not limited to budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop reports for the business to reduce manual work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Experience with costing methodologies
  • Experience with finance process mapping, particularly with Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and Forecast to Plan
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
