We are currently partnering with a global Managed Services Provider MSP based in Castle Hill to recruit a Field Service Engineer (L1/L2) to join their growing technical support team.

This position sits within a collaborative infrastructure support team and will focus on delivering high-quality support across predominantly Microsoft-based environments. You will work closely with a variety of clients, providing both remote and on-site technical support, while collaborating with internal engineering and professional services teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys client interaction, problem-solving across diverse environments, and developing their infrastructure support skills within a well-established MSP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to clients across Microsoft environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and general IT infrastructure.
  • Deliver client-facing support both remotely (phone/remote tools) and on-site.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or professional services teams when required.
  • Work closely with internal engineering and project teams to support infrastructure improvements and implementations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing clear communication and a high level of service delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience providing L1/L2 IT Support, ideally within a Managed Services environment.
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments and core infrastructure technologies.
  • Comfortable providing client-facing support both remotely and in person.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across user, desktop, and infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites when required (valid driver's licence needed).
