Job description
Ambition are searching for some experienced Cyber Security Specialists for some upcoming roles with our well-known Sydney clients. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background as well as a strong understanding of the cyber security industry, legislations & best practices. Please note that this is an expression of interest.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting & informing Information Security Policies
- Administration, support & incident response of key security technology platforms
- Work with your peers in Cyber Security Operations to identify and flag anomalies at a security platform level
- Cloud Architecture Design
- Identify security threats or vulnerabilities and work to implement proactive fixes and improve processes
- Vulnerability Management
- Regularly researching, exchanging, and interpreting information, logs and evidence with your security peers
- Informing & improving team/departmental security playbooks and processes
- Scripting to automate security processes
- Vulnerability Management
- Role based access controls & penetration testing
- Security Auditing & Strategy
Knowledge and experience:
- 2-3 Years' experience in Cyber Security or a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Security or Computer Science
- Technical knowledge of TCP/IP, NGFW, Antimalware, Enterprise WAF
- Knowledge & Experience of ISO27001 frameworks
- Knowledge & Experience of Cloud architecture security design
- Knowledge & Experience of Microsoft OS, Windows 7-10, Exchange, O365, Skype, Teams, Python, Linux, C/C++
